Clinic Esthetic is a medical cosmetic clinic specialised in treatments with injectables using ultrasound. Treatments are performed by medical doctor and owner Renate Cheung (BIG-nummer 69919362101) and are aimed at enhancing the physicial appearance or treating medical conditions, such as headaches and bruxism.
Renate was born and raised in Amsterdam. She graduated from Medicine at the Vrije University of Amsterdam and carries the title of medical doctor. After her graduation, she moved to Maastricht for love and worked as a licensed travel doctor. Even though that was a nice and stable job, she felt she needed something else in life. As someone coming from a family of entrepeneurs, it made sense to try the route of entrepeneurship. In 2020, Renate decided to go for it and start her own clinic which has now grown to become a successful clinic with over hundreds of treatments per year.
I was able to combine my interest in beauty, my background as a medical doctor and my passion for entrepeneuring and turn it into my dream job!

Generally speaking, there are different treatment options for one and the same problem, but not every treatment option will suit every person. There are factors to take in consideration, such as risks of the procedure, down-time, costs, etc. During a consultation, everything will be discussed in order to choose the most suiting solution. This means a lot of talking on both sides. Talking about wishes, expectations and possibilities. The most important thing is that doctor and client have the same view and are aiming at the same goal.

Furthermore, Renate attends international conferences every year to stay up to date on all the new insights in aesthetic medicine.
Of all the conferences I have been to, the most valuable one has to be CMAC (Complications in Medical Aesthetics Collaborative). The most brilliant aesthetic health care providers from all over the world came together to discuss all the knowledge they had gathered over the years about complications from aesthetic treatments. You need to know what can go wrong in order to stay safe.
Natural results
If someone is looking for duck lips, apple cheeks or ultra-defined jaw lines, then Clinic Esthetic is not the place to be for them. Here, only treatments with the goal of refreshing one's appearance are performed using a 'less is more' approach.
